Enviko Quartz-based Weigh-In-Motion (WIM) Enforcement System

Enviko Quartz-based Weigh-In-Motion (WIM) Enforcement System

System Overview
The non-stop weighing enforcement system primarily provides business application functions for fixed roadside overloading detection stations. It mainly adopts non-contact enforcement methods, relying on pre-inspection equipment to complete the detection and weighing of cargo transport vehicles. The system can publish overloading information and blacklist data through variable message boards, and it manages the business processes digitally via the software of the fixed roadside overloading detection station.

Typical Layout

Function Description

  • For vehicles passing through the main highway lane, the weighing system can automatically detect the vehicle's total weight, axle weight, number of axles and tires, axle distance, vehicle speed, and vehicle acceleration.
  • The system can accurately and effectively separate vehicles and handle abnormal driving conditions such as vehicle queuing and lane changing, ensuring the correspondence between vehicles and data.
  • The system has an automatic buffering function, allowing it to store a certain amount of data. If the data transmission to the roadside overloading computer fails, the system can resend the data, ensuring data uniqueness and integrity.
  • Weighing information can be transmitted to the backend control computer through a defined data interface.
  • The system has a fault self-diagnosis function, and when any equipment or line failure occurs, the system can obtain corresponding fault information.
  • The system can meet the needs of uninterrupted, continuous, and all-weather operation in an unattended mode.
  • For semi-trailer vehicles with inconsistent front and rear license plates, the system adds rear vehicle capture equipment to capture both the front license plate and the trailer plate.
  • The system can capture two panoramic feature images of overloaded vehicles (including the full view of the vehicle, license plate, color, model, and prominent geographical features).

System Components
The non-stop weighing enforcement system consists of a dynamic high-speed weighing system, vehicle separation system, vehicle recognition system, roadside video surveillance system, roadside information release system, and roadside information integration transmission system.
