CET8312-A Quartz Sensor for Weigh-In-Motion (WIM) The CET8312-A is Enviko's latest generation of dynamic quartz sensors, offering exceptional performance and reliable quality. Its linear output, repeatability, easy calibration, stable operation in a fully sealed structure, and absence of mechanical movement or wear make it an ideal choice for transportation weighing applications. Key Features: High Accuracy: Individual sensor consistency accuracy is better than 1%, and the deviation between sensors is less than 2%. Durability: Waterproof, dustproof, rugged, and corrosion-resistant; wide temperature and humidity adaptation range; no need for frequent calibration and maintenance. Reliability: High insulation resistance can withstand a 2500V high-voltage test, extending sensor service life. Flexibility: Customizable sensor length to meet various needs; data cable is resistant to EMI interference. Environmental Friendliness: Uses environmentally friendly materials and complies with...
Enviko CET-8311 Piezo Traffic Sensor The CET-8311 Piezo Traffic Sensor is a high-performance device designed for collecting traffic data. Whether installed permanently or temporarily, the CET-8311 can be flexibly installed on or below the road, providing accurate traffic information. Its unique structure and flat design allow it to conform to the road profile, reduce road noise, and improve the accuracy and reliability of data collection. Two types for CET-8311 Piezo Traffic Sensor: Class I (Weigh In Motion, WIM): Used for dynamic weighing applications, with an output consistency of ±7%, suitable for applications requiring high-precision weight data. Class II (Classification): Used for vehicle counting, classification, and speed detection, with an output consistency of ±20%. It is more economical and suitable for high-traffic management applications. Main Features of CET-8311 Piezo Traffic Sensor 1. Fully enclosed, no e...
The three mainstream types of Weigh-In-Motion (WIM) sensors : Quartz (Enviko and others), Plate Type, and Strip Strain Gauge, each have their own characteristics. Below is a comparative analysis of their features. Quartz Piezoelectric sensors use the piezoelectric effect, offering high-frequency response, a wide measurement range, compact size, easy installation, and no power supply requirement. They work well for speeds from 1-200 km/h, have excellent long-term stability, low maintenance costs, and a lifespan of 5-10 years. Plate Type sensors use strain resistance technology and are suitable for low-speed (0-40 km/h) or static weighing. Accuracy decreases above 30 km/h. Installation requires a large foundation pit, leading to long construction times, significant traffic disruption, high maintenance costs, and a short lifespan of 1-3 years. Strip Strain Gauge sensors are designed for medium to low-speed weighing (1-60 km/h) but become less accurate above 40 km/h. Installa...
